| Tricia Scruggs has extensive professional and life experience. A Chicago native, she has worked in New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Carolina and now resides in Dallas.
Tricia can be described as a thinker with investigative skill, creative writing ability and interpersonal communication skills. She also has experience interviewing challenging subjects.
A news fan, media critic, and all-around student of life, Tricia has worked as a cable news co-anchor, disc jockey, editor, and underwriter. She has worked with the Bureau of Investigations for one of the nation's largest State's Attorney's Offices, conducted a study of the Russian criminal justice system, and served as a United States Army Reservist.
Tricia holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Sciences from Illinois State University. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and former Chairwoman of the Jobs and Internship Committee for the Dallas-Fort Worth Association of Black Communicators.
